Locally Grown black walnut seeds

Just to let everyone know, at this time i do not sell nuts for replanting. While PEI does have mature walnuts that do produce, the rates of growth are so widely varying it would be unfair to sell any.  Most rates are below 40% per thousand. meaning if i sold say a dozen or two to someone, chances are one person could get a good amount and someone else getting nothing. In a few years once the orchards and grafts produce, I'll have higher germination rates than wild grown trees and will consider selling nuts then. For now we only sell the most vigorous two/three year old locally grown saplings, which is a much better option as the genetics are already proven.
